Bio
My teaching philosophy is to make students life - long learners and to focus on their specific learning styles and needs. I use video and open-ended questioning to help students determine solutions to problems on their own. Coaching students to succeed and remain positive in their learning is an important component to my style of tutoring.
Teacher Specialization
I am currently a Stride teacher of the gifted. I have been tutoring in person and online for the last 5 years. I have experience teaching Math and ELA in elementary and ELA and Social Studies in Middle School. I have taught Gifted and Core classes and enjoy both. I received the Daytona Beach News Journal teacher of the month award for my online teaching.
