Bio
Hello, my name is Zahra, but my students call me "Ms. Zee". I have been teaching for 14 years, and have taught both general education and music education. For me, teaching is a passion, a blessing and honor. My philosophy as an educator is that there is no child who is not capable of amazing things, especially when provided with the right kind of support. I believe that my greatest strength as an educator is in my ability to connect with, motivate, and inspire each of my students to their greatest potential. I enjoy to talking, joking, and strategizing with my students, to get to know what inspires them to be their best. In my teaching, I use different modalities, such as visual, verbal, and hands on activities, as well as music and art integration, to help my students achieve their goals, and have fun in the process. I am so excited for the opportunity to work with students and parents, and the chance to provide my assistance in the success of each child.
