Bio
Hello! I love learning, and you can often find me reading up or studying one of my latest curiosities or interests. My biggest curricular interests are language, writing, society, culture, and the ways all of these things work together (and have worked together through time). I think it is important to meet learners where they are in this moment, and make each moment an opportunity for growth. I love karaoke, Animal Crossing, and cooking for my family and friends!
Teacher Specialization
I began my teaching career in 2007. Since then, I have worked with students from age 3-73. I've worked in public, private, and charter school settings. I've taught traditionally, hybrid, and online. I've spent a lot of my career working with at-risk students or teaching remediation. I have also developed curriculum and teaching materials for organizations and school networks around the world.
