Bio
As a versatile, educator I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of students including those with ADHD/ADD, learning disabilities, and behavioral challenges. I believe that all students are able to learn and be successful. My goal with tutoring students is to remain sensitive to a student's unique capabilities, provide individualized support, and collaborate with parents/teachers to cultivate a supporting learning environment where everyone can learn and thrive.
Teacher Specialization
I have 9 years in Education. I previously taught Resource English for 6th, 7th and 8th grade. I have also taught K-5 all subjects. I have a background in special education and working with neurodivergent students. I received my bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with concentrations in History and Sociology from Excelsior College and Master's in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from American College of Education.
