Bio
Students learn the best when they are in a welcoming environment. They feel like they are important to their teachers when attention is given to their specific needs. As a tutor, I want my students to be able to express their needs in a trustworthy atmosphere. I will provide skills that will improve my students educational experience. I will encourage them to continue trying their best and motivate them towards success in their subjects. My students will always feel important in my classroom. I will provide support for my students on a regular basis. I am excited to become your tutor because I have so many experiences to share with you. I love reading mysteries or mind bending stories. Music is also one of my passions as I have experience playing the piano and the violin. I am an avid sports fan for NFL football and also the NBA.
Teacher Specialization
I am a retired teacher with over 26 years of experience. I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, 4th grade, 6th grade science, 6th grade math, 7th grade science and 3rd-5th grade reading intervention. I went to college and achieved my Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education at SUNY Fredonia along with my Master's Degree in Education from North Carolina A&T University. I am prepared to tutor with all of my accumulated experiences. I feel that you will find me to be your favorite teacher!
