Bio
My name is Deidre Lawrence. When I am not spending time with my family, husband and two daughters, I love to dive into a good book or travel. I grew up living in and visiting a plethora of states and countries. When I am unable to travel, books are my escape as I can be transported to another time or place. I love teaching and believe that all students can be successful. I have been teaching virtually since 2020, and I absolutely love it. It is my goal to help you grow academically by providing instruction, strategies, and feedback that can be implemented not only in our tutoring sessions, but also in your class so that you can excel academically.
Teacher Specialization
I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a Middle Level English endorsement. I have been in education for 12 years. I have taught elementary school as well as middle school English in public schools, private schools, and charter schools. In addition, I have served as an ELA Coach, a mentor teacher, and an ELA Department Chair.
