Bio
Hi, I’m Ebony McDonald, a certified Special Education teacher entering my 16th year in education. I believe in meeting students exactly where they are, and I pride myself on creating learning environments that are engaging, supportive, and rooted in real growth. I’ve served as both a lead teacher and a mentor, supporting colleagues while fostering strong, meaningful connections with my students. I’m relatable, fun, and straight to the point. My students love working with me and in return, they discover a genuine love for learning.
Teacher Specialization
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English from Radford University and a Master’s degree in Special Education from George Mason University. I currently teach 7th grade math and have previously taught 8th grade Pre-Algebra, bringing strong instructional experience across middle school mathematics. Beyond the classroom, I've tutored k-12 students in English, math, science, and history giving me a wide lens on how students learn at every level.
