Bio

My name is Dr. E. Scott England. I have a miniature dachshund named Garth. I love to read, and Garth loves to sleep next to me while I read. I have authored multiple books on topics that help and support doctoral students and teachers. All students learn at the pace that is best for them. Recognizing this, I approach teaching in a manner that allows me to connect with students where they are currently and chart a path to find success on where they want to be. My goal is for every student to reach their maximum potential. I want students to challenge themselves in recognizing they can achieve things they previously thought impossible. The number one factor in successful tutoring is learning more about the student in terms of who they are and what they enjoy. This helps enable my instruction to be tailored to reach them where their interests are.

Teacher Specialization

I hold a Bachelor's degree in elementary education as well as a Master's and Ph.D. in education leadership. I'm licensed in both Illinois and Maryland. I have five years of elementary teaching experience with certifications in elementary, middle school English language arts, middle school social science, and special education.
