Hello! My name is Ms. Pigott (or Ms. P for short). I am excited to meet you and start helping you be the best student you can be! My goal is to help you learn more than just the facts. There is so much more to learning than memorization, and by working together I will help you to learn how to learn and retain information in a way that works for you!
Teacher Specialization
I have been working in schools since 2009, starting as a teacher's assistant in Early Childhood Education in Cobham, England. I moved to the United States in 2011, and have been working as a coach, tutor, and now Special Education educator since then. I am FL certified in Elementary Education (K-6), Special Education (K-12), and Business Education (6-12). Working with individual students is so rewarding for me, especially when I can find the key to help them learn a new concept!
