Hello there! I'm Ms. Simmers, your future math partner for success. EVERY student (even you!) has the ability to experience success in mathematics! It is all about creating an engaging personalized learning experience that builds on their unique strengths while developing their love and abilities in mathematics. We will have fun while we break down complex concepts and skills into manageable bite-size pieces. You CAN do this! I would love to be your partner on your journey to success.
Teacher Specialization
I have a bachelors in pure Mathematical Sciences and two master's degrees in education. I have been teaching mathematics (grades 3 - university level) for the last 15 years, the last 10 of them virtually. I have experience teaching all levels from special education through the gifted and talented student with amazing success rates. Having taught every course many times in many different ways, I have developed a large toolbox of strategies that I utilize to help every student reach success!
