Hello, I am Dr. Brand, and I am pleased to meet you. When we meet, my goal is to hear your voice and understand your needs as a learner because we all learn differently. I believe that learning should be fun, and that all students can learn. You will complete an All About You Jacket and play a game of Tic-Tac-Toe with me.
Teacher Specialization
Hello, I am Dr. Brand, and I am pleased to meet you. With 40 years of experience teaching experience, eight years are in online/virtual teaching, the primary focus is special needs in early, elementary, middle school reading and literacy skills. The middle grades, high school, and two-year college focus is writing, test prep, and college entrance essays. I have a BA in secondary English Education, a Master's in Education, and a doctorate in K-12 Leadership in Education. I am a former Reading Coach who continues to study the Science of Reading and how best to teach students how to read and how to improve their reading. I look forward to working with you.
