Bio
My name is Kim Herrington. I believe every student has the ability to achieve their educational goals; they simply need a teacher who believes in that possibility every day and nurtures their growth. I am that teacher! Based in Florida, where I live with my husband and our rescue furbabies, I bring 18 years of in-person teaching experience and have been teaching online since 2019. When I’m not traveling or enjoying the Florida sunshine with my family, I am dedicated to ensuring my students excel and meet all their academic needs.

I bring two decades of classroom expertise to every session, ranging from foundational elementary skills to university-level instruction. As a Florida-certified K-6 teacher with extensive experience in high school ELA, AVID, and Test Prep, I understand the full spectrum of a student's academic journey. Beyond the classroom, I served as an Adjunct Professor and have spent 7 years coaching upperclassmen toward their college and career goals. For the past 4 years, I have specialized in online tutoring, where I pride myself on making digital learning as dynamic and enjoyable as in-person instruction.
