Hello! My name is Shanita, and I am a passionate and experienced educator with a strong background in early childhood education and instructional technology. I hold a bachelor’s degree from Albany State University and a master’s degree from Brenau University, both in Early Childhood Education, and I am currently pursuing my specialist degree in Instructional Technology. With years of experience teaching in diverse classrooms, I specialize in making learning engaging, interactive, and tailored to each child's unique needs. My goal is to build students’ confidence by using hands-on learning, technology, and personalized instruction to help them succeed. My greatest passion is helping students develop a love for reading. I use research-based literacy strategies and engaging digital tools to improve reading comprehension, fluency, and confidence. Whether your child needs extra support, enrichment, or strategies to become a more independent learner, I am dedicated to providing it!

I have 12 years of teaching experience across grades K-5, including four years teaching overseas in the UAE, where I gained valuable expertise in working with students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds. My time abroad strengthened my ability to support ESOL students, helping them build language skills and confidence in their academic abilities. Throughout my career, I have tutored both American and Emirati children, providing personalized instruction to meet their unique learning
