Bio
Hi, my name is Lauren Clarke. I am a wife and mother of three. I live in Central Florida and love to spend time outdoors on the lake or at the beach. I love to read and make memories with my family. I have been teaching students in many different capacities. I have been a tutor, substitute, elementary teacher in brick and mortar, as well as a national virtual teacher. Every student's needs are different and every student learns differently, therefore I differentiate the instruction. Every student is different! I believe that learning should be fun and engaging. I want the students to be involved and engaged in interactive lessons. During tutoring we will collaborate and learn through interactive lessons and educational games. During tutoring we are going to practice our skills. Learning can challenging, but it can also be fun! I want to work together during our tutoring session to learn new concepts and strengthen our skills.
Teacher Specialization
I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts from Stetson University. I majored in Elementary Education. I worked as an elementary school teacher for 4 years in brick and mortar. I took off a few years to raise my three children. I returned to teaching with Stride, teaching as a national virtual teacher. I am currently a substitute teacher as well as a Stride tutor.
