My name is Maggie Walters and I am a driven educator looking to make an impact on student learning and achievement. I live in a rural area with my husband and daughter. I am the proud owner of several chickens, horses, dogs, a cat, and a goat. I am focused on helping students become successful. I believe all children should have access to a quality education that is differentiated to meet their specific needs. I enjoy making real life connections with my students when teaching content. This not only build relationships but also allows the student to better master the content.
Teacher Specialization
I have been teaching and tutoring for 10 years. I have tutored online as well as in person and have taught in a brick mortar school. I have a specialist degree in education and am currently working on my doctoral degree in educational leadership. I have experience teaching special education in all grade levels. I also have experience teaching high school biology.
