Bio
Hello! My name is Melody and I am currently a second year middle school teacher with a K-6 multiple subject credential. My teaching philosophy is that all students have the potential to grow and learn, no matter what they know or do not know. Teaching is about meeting the students where they are at and then creating lessons that reflect their learning styles for the best academic success.
Teacher Specialization
I tutored online for a year, joined a tutoring company for a year, and have had more than 2 years of in person experience with teaching both elementary and middle schoolers. I have plenty of experience building relationships with students of all ages! I received my MA in Teaching from Biola University. Currently, I teach 8th graders in ELA and History. In the past, I taught multiple subjects in elementary education for 1st and 5th graders.
