Hello! My name is Ms. Rachel Washington, and I am passionate about helping students in 1st through 6th grade reach their full potential. With 6 years of experience in education, I have developed a love for fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive. I currently teach 4th grade Social Studies at Lone Star Online Academy. I believe that each student learns in their own unique way, and I tailor my tutoring sessions to meet their individual needs. Whether it's enhancing reading skills, improving math comprehension, or building confidence in their abilities, my goal is to make learning engaging and enjoyable. I am excited to work with your child and help them succeed academically while also instilling a lifelong love for learning!

I have a wealth of experience tutoring students across various grade levels, from K to 9th grade, in both general education and special education core subjects. I have had the privilege of working with diverse learners, including those who are autistic, dyslexic, and have other unique learning needs. I am particularly passionate about fostering a love for reading and helping students exceed their grade-level expectations.
