Bio
My teaching philosophy stems from Theodore Roosevelt's saying, “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” I enjoy building relationships with individual students, breaking down concepts into manageable bites, and helping them tap their potential. I am dedicated to differentiating instruction to meet student needs and propel academic growth. Most of all, I want students to tap into their potential and see gains in and out of the classroom. My home is in sunny Colorado! I am an avid reader, love spontaneous adventures with my husband and two puppies, and enjoy writing every day. I've tutored at a school in Zambia, Africa, and love to learn from different cultures and students.
Teacher Specialization
My repertoire includes preschool, kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade. I’ve tutored a variety of students from ages 4 through 13. Currently, I am subbing in a variety of roles in elementary schools. My accomplishments include a Master of Teaching and Learning (4.0 GPA), and a Science of Reading credential. I love working with neurodiverse students as well, in and out of the classroom.
