Bio
I have been teaching for over 10 years, mostly in elementary and middle school classrooms. Before becoming a teacher, I spent five years as a flight attendant, traveling the world, exploring new destinations, meeting people from different cultures, and enjoying incredible food along the way. Those experiences helped shape who I am today—curious, adaptable, and people-focused. I’m also a proud graduate of Texas A&M University—Whoop! I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, flexible, and tailored to their individual needs, with plenty of chances to practice and ask questions. As a tutor, I focus on creating a supportive environment and giving clear, constructive feedback that helps students feel confident and understand how to improve. My goal as a tutor is to help students not only understand their schoolwork, but also feel more confident in how they learn and think. I aim to support their academic success while encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and steady growth
Teacher Specialization
I am a dedicated educator with over a decade of teaching experience, including approximately seven years in brick-and-mortar schools and five years in online education. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of grade levels—from Pre-K through 7th grade—and have also served as a GT Coordinator and STEM Teacher. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Texas A&M University and hold certifications in EC–4 and 4–8 Generalist, along with an ESL Supplemental certification. I am deeply passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences and find it especially rewarding to witness the “light bulb” moments when students grasp new concepts. My experience in both traditional and virtual classrooms has strengthened my ability to engage learners, adapt instruction, and connect with students across diverse learning environments.
