Bio

Hi! My name is Sarah Seay and I would love to be your tutor. I have been working with students teaching grades kindergarten through second in the classroom for 4 years. Through these experiences, I learned a lot about different learning styles. I read with students that were on different reading levels, grouping them together in guided reading. My goal is to partner with my students to progress academically and grow stronger in their needs. I love language arts, reading, and writing and look forward to working with you. I believe that all children are unique and are special in their own way. I will support my students to rise to their potential and help them to be the best they can. My role will be loving, supportive, and fun so that they will develop in a healthy way. I will always do my best to present the curriculum clearly and add what I can to help students.

Teacher Specialization

I began teaching preschool in a private school and I loved it so much, I knew I wanted to be a teacher so I decided to go back and get my masters in Education. After I finished school, I subbed and tutored first grade for a while and then took a job where I taught second grade ELA. My most recent position was teaching kindergarten in all subjects.
