Bio
Hello! My name is Steffany Adair and I am so excited to be a part of the Stride family of tutors! I am a dedicated and caring teacher with over 12 years of experience. My husband and I have two loving little boys who are growing too fast! I love traveling and exploring new places, scuba diving, watching football (Go Buckeyes!), reading and spending as much quality time as I can with my boys! As a teacher, I am equally passionate about my students, and I try to inspire them with my own love of learning. I believe in creating a warm, positive environment that is rigorous, yet flexible, and challenges students to think for themselves. My goal is to support their learning, encourage their growth and build their confidence. I get to know each child and then create fun, interactive experiences to excite and motivate them. Haim Ginott said, “Children are like wet cement. Whatever falls on them makes an impression.” I would love the opportunity to make a positive impression on your child!

I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 12 years, with experience both in-person and online. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Miami University with a degree in Elementary Education and then earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. I have taught students in grades K-6 in all core subject areas. I have experience working with a wide range of abilities and learning styles and using formal and informal assessments to tailor instruction for individual students.
