Hello, I'm Ms. Johnson, and I'm thrilled to be your tutor. My primary goal is to support you in achieving your academic goals and nurturing a deep love for learning. If you find any topic challenging, rest assured that we'll work together to identify the most effective strategies to build your confidence and ensure your success. I'm particularly passionate about math and science, and I believe that they can be incredibly fun when approached with the right mindset and guidance. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, you'll often find me outdoors, taking hikes with my golden retriever, skiing in the snow, spending quality time with my family, or contributing to my community by volunteering with non-profit organizations.
Teacher Specialization
With decades of experience in elementary education, I have taught students from kindergarten to 5th grade. Over the past 10 years, I have specialized in math and science instruction. Earning National Board Certification in Literacy and a Master's degree in Education, I am able to provide targeted support to students who need support with literacy. Additionally, I successfully transitioned to virtual teaching during the pandemic, enabling me to support students' academic needs virtually.
