Bio
Hi there! My name is Tammy Clark and I am from central Arkansas where I have taught elementary school for 27 years. I love to travel and make memories with my family. I believe students learn best when they can make connections to what they are learning. I like to make learning fun and engaging. I feel like giving immediate feedback helps us to grow and know where we need to focus our strategies for learning. My goal is for students to master skills and feel confident that they can put these abilities learned into action. I want my students to leave each session with a smile and assurance they can do hard things. I am excited to tutor and share my knowledge and experience on a virtual platform
Teacher Specialization
I have my Elementary Education degree as well as certifications in Early Childhood and Gifted and Talented. I have taught all subjects in all grade levels- kindergarten through fifth grade for the past 27+ years. I love teaching children to read and seeing their confidence grow with each step they make in literacy. I have been trained in the Science of Reading. I spent the majority of my years in kindergarten, followed by fifth grade as my next longest stint. However, I finished up my career in 3rd grade Literacy. Each grade level is fun and unique. I also have several years of experience teaching students virtually and I am looking forward to continuing my career with digital tutoring!
