Bio
I'm Vanessa and I've been a teacher for over four years. I am a self-published author, love to volunteer, and I love seeing students thrive and take charge of their learning. I believe learning should be relevant and hands on. Through data driven research and learning, it's great to see students set goals and work hard to achieve their goals all while having fun along the way. I like to teach to the whole child and love building relationships with my students. If you're looking for your biggest cheerleader, I'm your tutor!!
Teacher Specialization
I have been an ELA teacher for over four (4) years. I've mostly taught Middle grades (6-8th grade) but I am certified to teach High School as well. I have a degree in Education and have my certification in English 6-12 (FL). I teach comprehension, literacy, and writing as well as helping students improve their reading skills.
