Hello everyone! I am an enthusiastic educator who loves to stay active both in education and in my everyday life through hobbies like running, traveling, and painting. My teaching philosophy centers on creating student-focused, engaging learning experiences that build confidence and joy in learning. I believe in meeting students where they are and growing with them, fostering steady progress that builds both skill and confidence. Highlights of my career include presenting literacy and math sessions at a statewide early childhood conference, leading a literacy professional development workshop, presenting lessons to university supervisors, and completing a rewarding kindergarten student teaching placement. I have 3 years of teaching and tutoring experience, primarily in kindergarten and first grade (all subjects) and sixth grade math. I hold both an undergraduate and master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Mississippi.
