Hello! I'm Wendy Scanlan, an enthusiastic and dedicated tutor with a passion for Social Studies! I love being around young people and helping students and athletes learn and grow whether in their desired subject or to just inspire confidence and mentor positive growth mindset. I started tutoring because I love how it can be a “two-way street”. When I share my knowledge, I also end up learning from my students too! Each student brings unique perspectives, questions and challenges that I may not have ever considered. I love how it keeps me connected with the younger generation while I get to do something I love...inspire positive confidence and a love for history.

I have over 12 years of teaching in classroom setting and I have 8 years of online teaching in which I have experience in creating customized lessons for different learning styles and presenting engaging lessons via Interactive materials, videos, and real-world examples that can bring concepts to life.
