Bio

Hello, my name is Ms. Ximinies (pronounced ZI-MIN-EZ). I have been a teacher for a little over 10 years, teaching students from 1st to 6th grade. Most of those years, I spent teaching 4th and 5th-grad reading and writing. The other years teaching 6th grade science, 2nd and 1st grade. I am passionate about helping students find different ways to interact with their learning so they can be successful. I am a mother of three lovely boys who keep me very active. During my free time, I love spending quality time with my family, going to the beach, building sand castles, and having picnics on the sand. I believe that learning should be engaging and exciting. I always encourage my students to ask questions and let them know that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. Just be patient with yourself and keep on learning! As Albert Einstein once said, "The only person who never makes a mistake is someone who does nothing." So, believe in yourself and keep pushing yourself to learn.

When it comes to tutoring, I strongly believe that students should have fun while learning, and that's why I always encourage them to actively engage with the lesson.
