Bio
I believe that every student learns differently, and true progress happens when we meet learners right where they are. In 1:1 tutoring, my goal is to build an environment rooted in positive reinforcement, high encouragement, and real-time corrective feedback. By catching mistakes immediately with gentle guidance, we build academic skill alongside lasting confidence. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to help every student discover their confidence and develop a genuine love for reading. By building strong foundational reading skills and strengthening comprehension, I empower students to move from struggling readers to confident, lifelong learners. Building a positive, trusting relationship is the cornerstone of effective 1-on-1 tutoring. When students feel seen, supported, and valued, their confidence naturally grows. This trust fosters higher engagement, encourages creative risk-taking, and ultimately empowers students to take ownership of their learning and practice independently.

For the past 10 years, I have passionately supported diverse K–12 learners by building confidence, bridging learning gaps, and designing individualized experiences. As a LETRS-trained Science of Reading and Ohio-certified dyslexia specialist, I use evidence-based, multi-sensory instruction to help every student thrive. I bring this expertise online with 5 years of virtual teaching experience, helping international students (ages 4–17) and adults build English language proficiency.
