Hi! I’m Mr. Al, an educator with over 12 years of experience (8+ online) passionate about helping students build confidence, stay motivated, and succeed. I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Education, and a California teaching credential in Physical Education. As a lifelong athlete and PE teacher, I bring the principles of discipline, goal-setting, teamwork, and resilience into my sessions. I encourage students to view challenges with confidence and a growth mindset. Great tutoring goes beyond finding correct answers. I connect lessons to real-life situations so students understand why their learning matters. I aim to create an encouraging, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and persisting through obstacles. I love building meaningful connections and inspiring excitement for learning. My goal is for every student to leave each session feeling capable and motivated. I look forward to working together!
