I am a dedicated educator with over 15 years of teaching experience and a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse learners, providing personalized instruction that builds confidence, strengthens academic skills, and fosters a love of learning. As an experienced teacher and instructional coach, I specialize in creating engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to each learner's unique needs. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and strategies. My goal is to make learning meaningful, enjoyable, and empowering while helping students achieve measurable academic growth. Whether your child needs support with reading, writing, study skills, or building confidence in the classroom, I am committed to providing a positive, encouraging environment where they can thrive.
Teacher Specialization
Reading and literacy are my primary areas of expertise. With over 15 years of experience in education, I have taught all core subject areas and worked with students across a variety of grade levels and learning needs. My experience as both a classroom teacher and an instructional reading coach has given me a strong foundation in helping students develop essential literacy skills, including phonics, fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing. While literacy is my specialty, I also provide support in math, science, social studies, homework completion, study skills, and test preparation. I tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs of the student, helping them build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and achieve their learning goals.
