Bio
Hi, I'm Mrs. Myers, an online teacher who loves comics, reading, and writing! I became a tutor to help students grow, learn, and express themselves while having fun. I believe students thrive when they feel supported, curious, and confident enough to take risks in their learning. My goal is to make learning exciting by encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and a sense of adventure. I love getting to know my students’ interests and using that to make lessons more engaging and personal. Teaching brings me joy, especially when I see students enjoying the process and reaching their full potential!
Teacher Specialization
I am qualified to teach K-6 reading, writing, and math, with a specialization in multilingual language learners (MLL) through my Master's degree in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language). I have experience teaching grades K-5 both online and in traditional classroom settings, as well as tutoring students in China. In addition to my TESOL degree, I also hold a degree in Business Management. Currently, I am enjoying my time as a 5th grade elementary teacher.
