Bio
With over 10 years in education, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when a child finally says, “I get it!” I hold a B.A. in General and Special Education, Michigan Teaching Certification (PK–5), and graduate coursework in Curriculum and Instruction. My experience spans early childhood and elementary special education, where I designed individualized learning plans, implemented evidence-based strategies, mentored staff, and earned one of the highest district evaluations early in my career. My teaching philosophy centers on creating safe, engaging, and structured learning environments tailored to each child’s strengths. Lessons are interactive, encouraging, and goal-oriented. When learning feels fun and doable, kids thrive!
Teacher Specialization
I specialize in Early Childhood and Elementary Special Education (PK–5), with expertise in creating inindividualized, engaging instruction that meets students where they are. My expertise includes early literacy, foundational math skills, reading comprehension, writing support, language development, and social-emotional growth. I have extensive experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with IEPs, learning differences, and attention or behavioral challenges. I use data-informed strategies, interactive tools, and clear step-by-step instructions to build confidence and independence. My goal is to make online learning structured, encouraging, and achievable—so students feel successful and motivated to grow.
