Hello! I’m Mrs. Clark, and I have dedicated the past ten years to helping students reach their full academic potential. I believe that effective learning begins with a strong relationship, which allows me to tailor my approach to each student's unique strengths, interests, and learning style. In my sessions, I will grow to understand the student's learning style and utilize specific strategies that are proven incredibly effective for building both competence and confidence. Together, we'll fill your learning toolbox with practical strategies while keeping the process engaging, curious, and fun. I’m here to support you every step of the way—let's get started!
Teacher Specialization
I am a licensed educator with ten years of diverse classroom experience spanning elementary and middle school, in both a virtual and brick and mortar classroom. My background includes teaching all core subjects in first, second, and third grades, which gave me a deep understanding of foundational learning. Before going into virtual learning, I spent four years teaching sixth-grade Science, and one year sixth-grade ELA. Additionally, I spent two years in a virtual classroom specializing in fourth-grade ELA and Social Studies. This broad experience allows me to meet students exactly where they are, whether they need early literacy support or advanced middle school strategies. No matter the subject or grade level, small-group and one-on-one instruction is always my top priority. It is in these personalized settings that I truly discover how a student learns best, where we see the most rapid progress, and where those wonderful "light bulb" moments happen!
