Bio
My name is Ms. Garcia and I am a dedicated educator who specializes in tutoring students with special needs and all acadmeic levels of need. I believe every student can succeed with the right support, so I use a patient, individualized, and student-centered approach to meet each learner where they are. My goal is to build academic skills, increase confidence, and promote independence through targeted instruction in areas such as reading, math, and all subject areas. I also prioritize building strong, trusting relationships by creating a positive and supportive environment, getting to know each student’s strengths and interests, and encouraging them to take risks and grow.
Teacher Specialization
I have several years of experience in education, working with students from early childhood through high school (K–12). I have experience supporting students in both in-person and virtual learning environments, providing engaging and individualized instruction across settings. My background includes teaching a range of content areas, with a strong focus on reading, math, and foundational academic skills. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a focus on Special Education from Florida Atlantic University and am certified in Special Education (K–12) and Pre-K through 3rd grade. I specialize in working with diverse learners, including students with disabilities, by providing individualized, goal-oriented instruction tailored to their unique learning needs.
