Bio
My name is Mrs. Moschetti. I have three daughters who make me proud every day; a veterinarian, and two nurses. My favorite things are cooking, being outdoors, traveling and crafting. I have retired but substitute 3-5 days a week because of my love for learning and being a part of children's educational path. All students can learn. Using a variety of modalities as well as differentiated instruction to make the learner successful. Keeping in mind, this is fluid and may change. As a tutor, it is my job to be consistent with the learner. Communicate with all entities for this learner. It is my goal to best help learners, in a fun environment, make progress. I love to ask questions like, "Tell me how you know." or "What makes you think that?" My commitment is to the learner's growth in academic areas, to keep open communication with those all involved with the student's learning and make each child feel like they can make progress through fun and engaging learning!
Teacher Specialization
I taught 23 years as a First Grade Teacher then 8 years as a Kindergarten Teacher. During the 2019/20 and 2020/21 academic years, I have had continuous academic routines via Google Classroom. My Classroom was also showcased on the district website for my cooking classes held weekly during this time. I was awarded, Teacher of the Year, in my school district. It was an honor bestowed on to me from my colleagues throughout the district. This is an honor I, still to this day, use as fuel to keep bettering myself as an educator.
