Hi! I’m Ms. Whaley, an experienced 4th grade educator with advanced degrees in Curriculum and Instruction, including a Master’s and Education Specialist (Ed.S.). I specialize in helping elementary students strengthen reading comprehension, writing, and critical thinking skills while building lasting academic confidence. My tutoring sessions are structured, engaging, and personalized to each student’s needs. I break down complex skills into clear, manageable steps and focus on deep understanding—not just getting the right answer. I also provide targeted support for students preparing for state assessments, including the Georgia Milestones. I combine high expectations with encouragement and patience. Whether your child needs enrichment or help closing skill gaps, I create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident, capable, and motivated to succeed.
