Bio
Hello learners! I am a 14 year veteran teacher who has taught mostly elementary school, specifically third grade. However, I have experience with grade levels K through eight in all subjects. I try to make learning enjoyable and fun, as well as targeted and valuable. As a tutor, I'm dedicated to getting to know my students and their needs, while learning about their interests as well. My favorite compliment I have received as a tutor is that my sessions fly by because we are having fun and they don't want the time to end. I enjoy seeing kids grow when they get the individual attention they need. As a tutor, I value most that the time spent together was productive and purposeful. I can't wait to start learning with you!
Teacher Specialization
I have taught 12 of my 14 years of teaching through a K12 school or program. I really love teaching in this format. I have taught reading support, 3rd through 5th grade and assisted in all other elementary levels. I love supporting reading comprehension, writing needs, one on one math support, and group work with science and social studies. I am willing to do any subject with any amount of students.
