Bio
Hi, I’m Kae! I believe every student has their own way of learning, and finding that approach can make all the difference. As a licensed K–6 elementary educator with Reading and ESOL endorsements, I bring five years of teaching experience in both traditional classroom and virtual learning environments. I enjoy getting to know each student as an individual and building a relationship that allows us to identify personal goals together. I use students’ strengths, interests, learning styles, and areas of need to create an approach that feels meaningful rather than one-size-fits-all. I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and celebrating progress along the way. My goal is to build both skills and confidence so students feel more capable, independent, and successful in their learning.
Teacher Specialization
I provide individualized K–5 tutoring in all core elementary subjects, with a strong focus on identifying and closing skill gaps. My teaching experience includes self-contained elementary classrooms, math and science instruction, reading intervention, Title I schools, and fully virtual learning environments. I have worked with students through differentiated instruction, small-group support, Tier II and Tier III reading intervention, and standardized test preparation. I use student performance and individual needs to determine where additional support is needed and adjust instruction accordingly. My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and interactive, with the goal of helping students strengthen foundational skills, understand challenging concepts, and become more confident and independent learners.
