Bio
With seven years of experience teaching grades 2–7, I bring a supportive, structured approach to tutoring, specializing in reading, math, and science. I am currently training to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist, which strengthens my ability to provide targeted, language‑based instruction. My educational philosophy centers on meeting students where they are, building strong foundational skills, and helping them understand concepts in meaningful ways. My tutoring goals focus on boosting confidence, closing learning gaps, and developing independent strategies students can use beyond our sessions. I build strong relationships by listening, celebrating progress, and creating a consistent, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn.
Teacher Specialization
With seven years of experience in education, I have taught grades 2–7 in both in‑person and virtual settings, specializing in reading, math, and science. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Elementary Education, and I am currently training to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist. I am LETRS trained, Science of Reading trained, and experienced as a virtual teacher, allowing me to deliver structured, evidence‑based instruction that supports diverse learners. My approach focuses on building strong foundational skills, increasing confidence, and creating meaningful learning experiences tailored to each student’s needs.
