Bio
My name is KaTrina Quinn, and I am an educator dedicated to fostering academic excellence and personal growth in all learners. With a strong background in Special Education, I am committed to ensuring that every student—regardless of ability or learning style—receives equitable, individualized instruction that promotes confidence and success. My educational philosophy centers on the belief that all students can achieve when learning is engaging, inclusive, and tailored to their needs. As a tutor, my goal is to help students strengthen foundational skills, build independence, and develop a lifelong love of learning. I prioritize building meaningful relationships by understanding each learner’s strengths, challenges, and aspirations. Through trust, patience, and consistent communication, I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel empowered to reach their fullest potential.
Teacher Specialization
I have over 15 years of experience in education, serving as a lead teacher, instructional coach, curriculum facilitator, and member of an instructional leadership team. I have extensive virtual teaching experience, providing online instruction and individualized support for diverse learners. I have taught students in grades K–6, with a primary focus on English Language Arts and Special Education. I hold a Master of Science in Elementary and Special Education from St. John Fisher College and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership K–12 from the University of Rochester. My specializations include exceptional children’s education, inclusive instructional design, differentiated instruction, and social-emotional learning support. I am passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential through engaging, equitable, and student-centered instruction.
