Bio
I'm Mrs. Price. It's my belief that education is a lifelong process. We never stop learning whether we realize it or not. Curiosity, real-world experiences and personal effort are what make learning rewarding for student, teacher and parent. I encourage my students to be curious and to never give up. It's hard to start a lifelong process of learning, but I never give up either. I try to be my students biggest cheerleader in their success and rock to lean against when things are a struggle. No journey in life is ever easy, but you have friends to help. I've had my own journeys in life that include motherhood, traveling, teaching, and creating my own path. I hope to help your student on their own journey as well.
Teacher Specialization
I have taught art for 17 years. I have taught elementary and middle school ages. Various students with special needs have come through my classroom during these years, so while I'm not an expert, I have some experience. I have also been pulled to help classes in need to teach various elementary subjects. So while art is my specific focus, I guess you could say I'm a jack of many trades. I have a B.A. in Art Education from Northern Illinois University.
