Bio
Hi, I’m Leslie! I love helping students grow in both skills and confidence. I believe learning works best when students feel comfortable, encouraged, and supported, so I focus on building positive relationships and creating a calm learning environment where they can ask questions and keep trying. My goal as a tutor is to help each student make meaningful progress while feeling successful and proud of what they can do.
Teacher Specialization
I’ve been in education for 10 years and earned my degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University. I also have Reading and ESOL endorsements. My background includes both classroom and virtual education experience, and I have worked with students across K–12. I specialize in reading, writing, and English support, and I also have experience teaching elementary math, science, and social studies. I focus on helping students strengthen their academic skills, improve performance, and become more confident, independent learners.
