Hello! I'm Mrs. Tucker! I believe every student learns differently, and my approach is centered on creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. Whether you're looking for help mastering new concepts, catching up in class, or preparing for a test, I'm here to making learning engaging and approachable. One of my favorite beliefs is that everyone can become a "math person." Math isn't about being naturally gifted, it is about building understanding, confidence and the right problem-solving strategies. My goal is to help students overcome math anxiety, celebrate progress, and discover that they're capable of far more than they may think. I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your academic goals!
Teacher Specialization
I specialize in elementary mathematics and science, with classroom experience teaching 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade students. Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked in both in-person and online settings as a classroom teacher and math coach, supporting learners with a variety of skill levels, adapting instruction to meet each student's unique needs while creating a positive, engaging learning environment. I have experience working in inclusion classrooms, supporting students with diverse learning needs. This experience has strengthened my ability to differentiate lessons, provide individualized support and foster an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and capable of success.
