Bio
My name is Manon Gonzalez. I have been an educator for over 15 years including special education and have a master's in educational psychology. I love to read, travel, walk my dogs, and spend time with my family. I enjoy home decorating and remodeling too! I believe every child can learn, grow, and succeed when they feel safe, valued, and supported. My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that strong relationships are the foundation of meaningful learning. By building trust with students and collaborating with families, colleagues, and support staff. My goal is to help students develop confidence, resilience, problem-solving skills, empathy, and a lifelong love of learning. I encourage curiosity, celebrate progress, and view mistakes as valuable opportunities for growth.

I have also worked with students with diverse learning needs, including those with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, specific learning disabilities, and other exceptionalities, I understand the importance of patience, flexibility, and individualized support.
