Bio
Hello! My name is Olivia Chase and I am excited to work with your students. I hold certifications in Early Grades Preparation PreK-4th, Special Education PreK-8th, as well as a Reading Specialist. My educational goals for students are to help them understand learning can be fun! By utilizing hands on and engaging resources, students can become more independent learners. My teaching philosophies are not only attending to my student's academic needs but also their social/emotional needs. Creating strong connections is something I value in hopes students can feel a sense of trust and connection.

I have been in the field of education for 8 years now! I have experience in a multitude of settings ranging from kindergarten-5th grade. I worked in a Title 1 school for 4 years supporting students with academic and socioeconomic disadvantages. I also have experience working in special education where I worked with students with varying intellectual and physical disabilities. With previous knowledge of IEP formulating and implementation, I feel comfortable supporting students with their individual academic goals and adhering to their SDIs.
