Bio
My name is Robin Nichols. I am excited to meet you and to learn together! I live in Utah with my husband and can't wait to have a backyard big enough for a dog! I believe that all children deserve a safe place to progress academically and emotionally in and environment where they are respected and valued. As an educator, my purpose is to create this nurturing environment where each student's unique strengths, interests, and aspirations are recognized and cultivated. I aim to empower students to become compassionate, resilient, and lifelong learners who can thrive in a diverse and ever-changing world. As an educator, I believe that mistakes are how we grow so I ask that my students accept mistakes, both mine and theirs and that we learn from each other in those spaces.
Teacher Specialization
I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and I have been teaching for two years. I have experience teaching 5th and 6th graders. I have also worked with students from Kindergarten to 3rd grade in small groups sessions with an emphasis in testing and progress monitoring.
