Bio
Hello! My name is Sukhjeet Dhanota, and I am a California Multiple Subject Credential holder with a bachelor's degree in Child Development from California State University, Sacramento. My experience includes student teaching in a fifth-grade classroom, tutoring elementary students in math and reading, and working as a paraeducator supporting diverse learners. My teaching philosophy is centered on creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every student feels valued and capable of success. I believe that building strong relationships, encouraging curiosity, and adapting instruction to each student's learning style helps students develop confidence and achieve their goals. I strive to make learning interactive, patient, and encouraging while helping students build both academic skills and self-confidence. My goal is to inspire students to become lifelong learners who enjoy discovering new ideas.

I have experience working with elementary students in grades K–5 through classroom teaching, small-group instruction, and one-on-one tutoring. I have supported students in reading, mathematics, writing, and homework assistance while adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs. My experience includes working with English Learners, students with ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, and students receiving Tier 2 interventions. I use differentiated instruction, positive reinforcement, and engaging activities to help students build confidence and master new concepts. Whether teaching online or in person, I focus on creating organized, interactive lessons that keep students motivated while providing individualized support to help them reach their academic goals.
