Bio
Hi! I’m a certified math teacher for grades 1–8, and I love helping students understand math in a way that feels less overwhelming and more manageable. I’m patient, encouraging, and always willing to explain something in a different way until it clicks. I believe every student can be successful in math with the right support and encouragement. My goal is to make tutoring a comfortable, positive experience while helping students build both their math skills and confidence.
Teacher Specialization
I have 2 years of tutoring experience from working in a brick-and-mortar school, where I worked with students one-on-one and in small groups to support their math skills. I am currently in my third year of teaching 7th grade math virtually, which has given me extensive experience teaching and supporting students in an online setting. I specialize in helping students build confidence, strengthen foundational math skills, and break down challenging concepts into smaller, easier-to-understand steps. I am comfortable working with students at different skill levels and adjusting my teaching approach to meet their individual needs.
