Bio
Hi, I’m Tracie! I’ve been an educator for 10 years, beginning my career in kindergarten and second grade before moving into an Exceptional Student Education support facilitator role. Those experiences shaped my belief that every child can learn when they have the right support, the right pacing, and someone who genuinely believes in them. My teaching philosophy is rooted in celebrating growth, especially the small wins. I love watching students master a skill they once thought was out of reach and seeing how that single moment can transform their confidence. Those breakthroughs are why I teach. My teaching style is patient, organized, and methodical. I break skills down into clear, manageable steps so students never feel overwhelmed and always know what to do next. I focus on building confidence, creating structure, and helping students feel proud of themselves again. I’m committed to helping learners feel capable, supported, and successful.
Teacher Specialization
I graduated from the University of North Florida with a bachelor's degree in Pre-Kindergarten/Primary education, with an endorsement in ESOL. I later pursued a reading endorsement and certification in ESE K-12. I began my teaching career in kindergarten, where I spent four years building strong foundational skills and early‑learning routines. I then taught second grade for another four years, deepening my experience with literacy development, math instruction, and differentiated support. For the past two years, I’ve served as an ESE support facilitator in third and fourth grade, working closely with students, teachers, and families to provide targeted interventions and individualized learning plans. Across my ten years in education, I’ve mentored new teachers, led the second‑grade math team, collaborated on an ESE instructional support team, and consistently earned highly effective ratings on my evaluations. I’m proud of the positive student growth I’ve seen year after year.
