Bio

I have been worked as an engineer for over 20 years before I became a teacher. I have a B.E in Mechanical engineering and a M. S in Industrial Technology. I am certified to teach high school math and Chinese. (Chinese is my mother language) I believe kids are capable to do anything they want. Sometimes I heard kids even adults saying “I am not good at math”. I would do all my best to change this fixed mindset that, and help my students to develop, " I can be good at anything as long as I work hard". I am sincere and I find kids can easily find that out and connect with me.

Teacher Specialization

I have taught and tutored students in high school math (Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II). I can also tutor Chinese since that's my mother language. My students always say, I made math much easier to learn. I tried not to overwhelm kids, just made the point. The important thing is link what they knew with the new things, and help them build confidence in math, and more importantly, confidence in learning.
